It has been a wild until we got here: Our debut album BREATHE is out on time and has already gained some attention we'd like to share with you!
Most of all it is one whole page in the German edition of the VISIONS magazine that we are proud of! But also OX, fuze, SLAM and many more magazines and online magazines shared a story about us. We never thought to get this much attention for our first release.
But lets start with the making of: Last year, after two singles that are still pretty popular, we decided to do it - to make a whole album. Corona wasn't over so we always had to deal with not getting infected between the studio sessions in Halle/Saale. They were mostly 3 days every 3-4 months.
So we had enough time to work on the next three songs between the recording sessions which allowed us to write contemporary lyrics.
For example the lyrics for "Of Hopes and Fears" were written between February and April. As we started the second to last studio session on Februaty 24th we hadn't heard the news that Russia invaded Ukraine. We were shocked and all three studio days we had the TV running all the time. Those days were so echoing afterwards that Nik wrote the lyrics to this song about our feelings we had during these times.
Except this we had a 100% great time at Sawdust Recordings again and we are proud about the results! Here ist a collection of radio stations that already featured our new album:
We had a lot of radio and magazine interviews over the last weeks and there are still coming new ones. Look at the magazines that reported about the album:
Now we are ready for some live action! We are applying for some events around Germany and hope to get some stages we can hit!
